Adventure 1: The Friendship Forest
Dates: Jan. 26th - Feb. 18th (Mondays/Wednesdays from 3:45-4:45pm)
Showcase: Friday, February 20th
Story Types:
Step into the Friendship Forest where performing helps us show how we feel! Centered
around simple movies, picture books, and shows about friendship, helping, belonging
and caring. The Friendship Forest Adventure will introduce kids to how music helps
show emotions. At the end of the 4 weeks, we will have a StoryStage Share Day where
kids will showcase what they have learned and created.
Adventure 2: The Characters and Creatures Playhouse
Dates: April 27th - May 13th
Showcase: Friday, May 15th
Story Types:
Welcome to the Characters and Creatures Playhouse where you can try on silly voices,
funny walks and big personalities. Centered around cartoons, animated movies, & silly
stories, The Characters and Creatures Playhouse will explore fun characters and humor
and introduce kids to how music shows personality. At the end of the 4 weeks, we will
have a StoryStage Share Day where kids will showcase what they have learned and
created.
Adventure 3: Level Up! The Muscial Quest
Dates: July 27th - August 19th
Showcase: Friday, August 21st
Story Types:
It’s time to Level Up! Go on a musical quest with heroes, challenges and adventures.
Centered around age appropriate video games & adventure quests, the Level Up!
Musical Quest Adventure will introduce games to get your kiddo moving and explore
how movement through music creates energy or quiet moments. At the end of the 4
weeks, we will have a StoryStage Share Day where kids will showcase what they have
learned and created.
Adventure 4: Once Upon the Year
Dates: October 26th - November 18th
Showcase: Friday, November 20th
Story Type:
Every season has a story – from cozy tales to exciting celebrations. Centered around a
mini-production, the Once Upon the Year Adventure will focus on fun seasonal stories
and how to bring them to life on stage as well as show how music can create different
moods. At the end of the 4 weeks, we will have a StoryStage Share Day where kids will
showcase what they have learned and created.
